Rajeev Rai has always had an interest in photography. After he completed his post graduation from NIFT Delhi, he worked as a designer for a well-reputed export house in Mumbai. Though Rajeev has always been fascinated with photography his brief stint as designer gave him the opportunity to explore the nuances of photography. He already had a creative flair and aesthetic eye, but to enhance the technical aspects, he set off on a quest for information and inspiration by reading photography books, attending workshops and seminars, by analyzing masters in photography, by doing loads of self assignments, experimenting and eventually reviewing results. Later, he turned his personal passion into a professional pursuit.

Presently Rajeev is working as a professional photographer from 2007 in Mumbai. His keen sense of individualism reflects in his accomplishments and had allowed him to successfully implement his multidisciplinary fields of Fashion, Home Textiles, Travel and fine art photography.

Digital photography fascinated him as it opened a new field to explore and play with his innovative side. He utilizes new technology but also loves to experiment and come out with exceptional imagery using traditional means. He uses advanced computer technology only to complement traditional photography techniques but not to substitute the originality of an excellent image.

Rajeev is always keen on taking on assignments where he could explore his creative competence and satisfy his clientele. With an eye for composition and a passion for light he strives to capture beautiful images in the lens with every project.
